It all began in 1986 when Pat Marcus was tired of the lack of comfortable bras that fit well, especially during pregnancy. Her sister, a talented seamstress and designer, created the Original Un-Bra that met all of Pat's needs, and she knew it could work for other women too. The response was overwhelmingly positive and by 1995, we expanded the product line to include underwear for women, girls, men and boys, everyday wear and activewear clothing, as well as baby items and accessories and swimwear. By 1995, we needed to move production to a larger space.
We proudly offer personalized services and customize our products so they will fit you perfectly. With over 35 years of experience fitting customers long-distance, we’re confident we can help you find what you need for your unique shape or comfort issue. We can adjust and modify our products to ensure a perfect fit, and we keep your information on file for future orders. When we hear customers say our bras have literally changed their lives, or that they will never wear any other bra, it confirms our belief that we have something special to offer.
Social responsibility is important to us. We use recycled materials for packaging whenever possible and limit our use of plastic. We use organic fabric that is made in the USA and pay our talented staff well above minimum wage - 3 of our seamstresses have been with us for over 25 years!
Pat retired in 2020, but after working as the office manager for over 30 years, I was excited to step into the new role of president and keep our commitment to providing high-quality products that fit the way our customers want.
