About Decent Exposures®

Hate your bra? Wish you didn’t have to wear one? In 1986, Decent Exposures® began manufacturing the Original Un-Bra, designed by women, for women, with your comfort in mind. Since then, we’ve been successfully fitting women of all sizes, from 30AA to 60L, and every size in between. Over the years, we have expanded our product line to include front closure bras, nursing bras, swimwear, everyday and activewear clothing, as well as baby items and accessories, all made from the same high quality fabrics we use to make our bras and underwear.

Social responsibility is important to us. We use recycled materials for packaging whenever possible, limit our use of plastic, and pass on large fabric scraps to be re-purposed or recycled. We buy organic fabric whenever possible, all of which is made in the USA. In 2016 we were one of 10 finalists for Green America’s People and Planet Award for ethical apparel supply chains. All our products are made in our Seattle office, where most of our employees have been with us for over 10 years. They are paid well above minimum wage, with excellent benefits, and are truly valued for the excellent work they do. We have never bought or sold our mailing lists, as we know quality products and customer satisfaction are the best ways to generate business.

We proudly offer personalized services and customize our products so they fit you. With over 30 years of experience fitting women, both in person and long-distance, we’re confident we can help you find what you need for your unique shape. Need your straps longer or shorter? Armholes cut higher or lower? Latex-free elastic? We can adjust and modify our products to ensure a perfect fit, and we keep your information on file for future orders. Because we offer so many products in such a wide range of sizes, colors and fabrics, we make most items to order, so you get exactly what you want.

We do have a small inventory of products available that can ship right away. Regular First Class shipping is included in our prices, so there are no surprises at checkout, with most orders shipping in about 3 weeks. For faster delivery, see our Shipping Options.

Whether you have been a customer for years or are just hearing about us for the first time, we look forward to helping you find the comfort you deserve!

A Message from our President

Pat Marcus Having always been a hard-to-fit size, I was totally frustrated looking for bras that fit, especially once I became pregnant. My sister, a talented seamstress and designer, had been making the Un-Bra® for friends for some time. During a visit, she made a bra for me that was supportive, comfortable, and truly fit! I knew that if this bra worked for me, it could work for just about anyone.

In 1986, we decided to make these bras available to more than just family and friends, and that's when Decent Exposures® was born, with production set up in my basement in Seattle. Over the past 30 years, we have expanded our product line, moving out of the basement to daylight office space in 1995. Throughout our transitions and growth, we have never compromised on the quality of our products or the service we offer to help you get the right fit. From the onset, the response has been extremely positive. When we hear customers say our bras have literally changed their lives, or that they will never wear any other bra, it confirms our belief that we have something special to offer.

Decent Exposures® is committed to providing quality products at affordable prices. New products (like our nursing bras and our cami/bras) often come from customer suggestions. If you have ideas of how we can improve our products or service, we'd love to hear from you. Keep the letters, emails, and testimonials coming! And be sure to let your friends know we are here for everyone!
